If you could live anywhere, which city would you call home?
Although winters are a little colder than I’d like, I’d choose Cape May, New Jersey. I enjoy having easy access to the beach and all the great restaurants. I also enjoy the golf courses and wineries, with my favorite being the Cape May Winery.
If you could eat just one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?
That’s easy. Just give me a rib-eye steak cooked medium-rare. Add a side of french fries and roasted broccoli with garlic to complete my main course. Then I’d have an espresso to finish my evening.
What do you like to do in your free time?
I hang out with my wife, spend time with my dog Tesla (she’s a mutt, shepherd, lab, pit, and boxer mix), spend time with friends and family on weekends, and cook—I think I’m good at grilling steaks and can make a delicious homemade meatball pizza.
Who is your biggest hero?
My grandfather. He always made me laugh but knew when to be serious and take in the moment. He was also very driven, always welcoming, and cared deeply about his relationships with other people—all characteristics which I try to emulate. He was also a great cook, and his homemade meatballs and tomato sauce were amazing.
What would you do with your Mega Millions winnings?
The very first thing I’d do is help people who have Tourette’s syndrome, like I do, by giving them access to more resources, better education, and stronger advocacy. I’d also buy myself a metallic steel ZR1 convertible Corvette and plan a long trip to Italy with my family.
What are some of your most memorable moments?
Marrying my wife Nicole, buying my first house, graduating college, and passing my CFP® exam. Lastly, the way my parents make fun of my geography skills (or lack of skills).
